Specialising in dance theatre and physical theatre, Sarah has performed and toured nationally and internationally for companies including; Spiltmilk Dance, Tell Tale Hearts, Coreo Cymru, Tutti Frutti and Katie Green.
Over the last ten years Sarah has built up many wonderful contacts in dance and theatre and has several ongoing working relationships including; dancer/ puppeteer for Beautiful Creatures, rehearsal director/performer for Spiltmilk Dance and Associate Lecturer in Dance and Theatre at déda.
She is currently working as a dance mentor for Birmingham Opera Company, as well as embarking on two new research and development projects; Fractured Ground with visual artist and musician Andrew Williams and Awakenings with choreographer Kerryn Wise.
Sarah was recently invited to speak as part of the research report, Independent Dancers: Roles, Motivation and Success at Bedford University, to talk about her experiences sustaining a career in the independent dance sector, in particular after starting family. She holds a Masters degree in Dance Making and Performance from Coventry University and BA (hons) Performing Arts: Dance from Middlesex University.
