Shelley Eva Haden trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, upon graduation she became one of the first students in the history of NSCD to achieve 100% in her final year solo assessment.
Shelley has a wide range of professional performance experience and has been touring with Rosie Kay Dance Company for over two years in productions such as ‘MKULTRA’, ‘Motel’, ‘Double Points: K’ and the five star national tour of ‘5 SOLDIERS’. She also performed with companies such as: Trash Dolly’s Dance Theatre, Keneish Dance, Balbir Singh Dance Company, Slung Low and worked with choreographers such as Tamsin Fitzgerald and Gary Clarke.
Shelley’s classes focus on full, embodied movement exploring challenges in strength, agility and cardio vascular. The style will be a fusion of many contemporary techniques including Cunningham, Graham, Release, Flying Low and GaGa. The energy will be fun, positive and engaging yet technically charged with an attention to dynamics, musicality and detail.
