This class brings together Katye and Charlie’s approaches to movement as explored in a combined practice that they call This thing that we do which has been performed in several iterations including as part of Katye Coe’s Wild Card at Sadlers Wells. The class combines practical and improvisatory approaches to moving solo in duet and group configurations and bringing attention to the ways in which we we engage the senses and the imagination in full-bodied movement making. They will work with exercises and images that play with shifting the ways in which it is possible for us to imagine and experience our bodies in motion.
