About Iona:

Iona Waite is Rehearsal Director at ACE dance and music. Her work teaching and developing young dancers aged from 2 to 19 has led to regular collaborations with major dance organisations across the globe including embedded work in France, The Netherlands, South Africa, Malta and a double invitation to participate at the International Association of Blacks in Dance, the world’s leading gathering of practitioners, scholars and administrators of black dance. 

Working alongside the company’s directors Iona supports the strategic development of dance in the African Diaspora, contemporary dance, dance in education, children and young people as well as artist relationships. Iona is also a board member for Dance Consortium and People Dancing.
