Birmingham Dance Network Social Media Policy – 7th February 2019
BDN provides and supports professional development opportunities for the independent dance sector. This includes, but is not limited to, performers, choreographers, teachers and producers. We specialise in contemporary dance and innovative practice. We use social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to help the network find work, training and other opportunities.
Therefore, we are happy to share:
- Audition notices for paid work
- Dance sector job adverts
- Professional-level training opportunities
- Open-level dance classes for over-18s
- Performances
Unfortunately, we are unable to share:
- Youth dance opportunities
- Opportunities for participants who are under 18
- Beginners or intermediate classes
As we are a Birmingham based network, we strive to prioritise the publication of local news and opportunities. We may also share unpaid opportunities where appropriate.
