Being a freelance dance artist or creative can be incredibly rewarding and liberating, but it can also be pretty lonely. As independent artists, we understand the importance of hanging out with like-minded people and meeting other dance professionals.
Once a month we gather together (in various locations across Birmingham and usually with food on the table) to talk about upcoming opportunities and connect with each other as real-life humans, not just via social media. This is a great opportunity to meet other artists and could even result in new collaborations….who knows. Socials work for us as a network as we get the chance to welcome relocated artists, recent graduates and visiting dancers as well as those who have been part of the network for many years.
