About the class:
Katie’s class is full-bodied and dynamic with an emphasis on moving expansively and freely through the space. Expect a joy-filled class with a mixture of improvisation and set material to get you feeling warm both outside and in.
About Katie:
Katie is a dance artist based in Birmingham. She has had the pleasure of performing with companies such as Springs Dance Company, Sonia Sabri Company, Autin Dance Theatre and Highly Sprung. Katie also enjoys rehearsal directing and was recently Movement Associate for ‘The Ballad of Maria Marten’, a play by Beth Flintoff. Katie also teaches and facilitates dance in a range of settings and is passionate about dance being for everyone. She is an Associate Artist for FRONTLINEdance and is currently enjoying performing on the children’s wards at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital with eek & wild, a company she co-founded in 2021.
