The WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Programme #WYNTK is a series of workshops designed to make your life as a freelancer less stressful so you can get on with the serious business of being a badass dance artist. Led by BDN with some help from industry professionals and experienced dance freelancers, #WYNTK gives you an essential tool kit to excel as both and artist and, dare we say it, a business. We said it!

WYNTK: 1-2-1 Advisory Sessions with The Uncultured

These 45-minute online sessions are for targeted support and specific advice for those currently writing or about to start Arts Council England funding applications. Whether you have questions about project design, strategy, budgeting or just want to know the foolproof cheat code to unlock the jackpot (spoiler: there isn’t one), they’ll be there to throw in their (publicly-funded) two penneth.

These sessions are on a first come first serve basis and designed for those already in the process of writing an application.

These sessions are split over 2 days. Tuesday 16th January are evening slots that you can book between 5-8pm. Thursday 18th January are afternoon slots between 1-4pm.

There is a £20 honorarium for each participant, per workshop. We recognise that taking time to do training is potentially lost work time. We’re offering each participant a £20 honorarium to go some way in compensation for this loss.

We have an access budget. If you require additional financial support to reach the session then please get in touch. This could be to cover (but is not limited to) childcare, travel, a personal assistant or a BSL interpreter.
